This gym is amazing! We were only in Raleigh for 10 months and we learned so much under the teaching of Master Godoi and his team. From the start, we were welcomed into the G13 family. It is truly a family. People are friendly, respectful and encourage each other to constantly get better. Master Godoi often tells inspirational stories and he knows the names of each of his many students. There are students of all levels from beginner to very advanced and there are many classes available to accommodate everyone’s needs. The warmup exercises are really fun and there are many opportunities for rolling with good music in the background. The gym is bright and always very clean. Fabiana at the front desk is very helpful and resourceful. She was always available to answer all of our questions. We love this gym. We learned so much in our short time there and we were sad that we had to leave.

My 5 year old son started at G13 a year ago this month! Everything about this school is top tier! Coach Matt, Coach Moe, Coach Antonio and Professor Godoi have been amazing mentors to my son and his personal growth since starting has been exceptional! We truly feel like family here. Kids classes are fun, motivating, and each coach takes the time to individually teach technique! Best Gym in the Triangle area! HIGHLY recommend!

Initially joined out of peer pressure from our neighbors and ended up being the best decision for our whining, only child. The kids class and Coach Matthew has been amazing for reinforcing self-discipline and mindfulness. This has also been a great community full of team building activities for our kid and great source of physical activity for this gamer. The kids class has been a fun alternative to video gaming for a group of boys in our neighborhood-so glad their trying new experiences and doing some self care too! The Godoi family is amazing and Professor Godoi is a top-knotch competitor in the world. Love that the kids are able to have this learning experience from such a Jujitsu expert from Brazil 🇧🇷 right here in Cary! You won't be disappointed!

Best academy in the Raleigh area, hands down. The facility is beautiful, clean, neat, big and very welcoming. The knowledge and experience that Roberto Godoi brings to this area is immeasurable ; He is a 6th degree black belt with over 30 years of experience in teaching, competing and mostly, running a great and renowned business. My son has been training there for few months and has been learning way more than just Jiu Jitsu. The instructors talk a lot about discipline, respect, team work, camaraderie, and that also goes for adults. It's a great environment to train.I've been around Jiu Jitsu world for over 2 decades and I can assure there's no other place in the area, like G13.

Roberto Godoi is an icon of Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I'm very happy to have him as my master. In the 30 years that I've been doing jiu-jitsu, I've met several masters who are also renowned, but none as great as master Roberto Godoi. I’m Brazilian, 5th Black Belt in BJJ, and I have lived here, in the US, for more than seven years and I’ve never found an academy that had the level of teaching and commitment of G13. I’m so happy to know that G13 has come to America, and master Roberto Godoi is here disseminating his knowledge, building great fighters and above all great human beings. Today I live in Florida but whenever I can, I try to go to North Carolina to learn a little more of the gentle art with my great friend and Master Roberto Godoi.

Godoi and his family have just received me as an instantly family member! I've been out of tatami for many, many years and felt just home training with them. Detailed information is passed every time with very care which makes the sessions fantastic! G13 is the perfect school if you want a top notch jiu-jitsu with a fantastic team!!!

Great gym, great people! Enrolling my 3 and 5 yo kids is one of the best decisions I have made! The kids enjoy the challenge and become more confident, disciplined, and strong with each class. Visited a class here today as a guest from Oregon and I was incredibly impressed! Roberto was very friendly and welcoming, as were all of his students. The class was fundamentals and was very well run and I learned a ton in the hour. Rolled with multiple belt levels and they were all top notch! All of the students raved about Roberto and his gym and I can see why. Super super aweseome experience and if I lived here I would be training at G13 for certain.
